I find it meaningful (to what extent I am quite certain I won’t ever really know) that during this week when Israel made headlines for something no one could see coming, the week began with tens of thousands of Jews gathered in Madison Square Garden screaming “Bring Them Home” (which please Gd, will happen so very soon) hollering “Am Yisrael Chai”, and singing “Baruch Shem K’vod Malchuto L’olam Va’ed” (Blessed is the name of His glorious kingdom forever and ever).
I wasn’t able to subtitle this (for technical reasons) so I simply offer its short translation below. Ishay’s words remind me of a prayer I have repeated often since October 7th: “Please G-d, in the way you shocked us with evil and terror, shock us with goodness and light.”

I am certain, and I believe. And I think we all believe, each in their own heart, that all that the People of Israel has gone through now, it's not for naught, and the hurt and the tears that fell with no end, they will flourish a world of redemption, a new world, and when it arrives, and it will arrive soon, please G-d, we won't believe all the good.
